Not sure what to say?

Out of curiosity I looked for Jack on the Internet only to find out he passed away three years ago. I worked as Jack's administrative assistant at Touche Ross in San Francisco in the early 80s. He was a great person to work for. I was impressed with his brilliance and dedication to his work. When he transferred to New York he asked me to go with him but I preferred remaining in San Francisco. I'm glad he accomplished so much in all the years since. He was remarkable.

I served with Jack Shaw on the Board of El Viento and my husband Van W. Riley served on the Oak View Renewal board. We had such respect for this man. He saw a need and found partners to solve a community problem. It was always possible in Jack´s eyes to accomplish anything. He was skilled and we learned so much from him. Rest In Peace, dear friend. Good work. Mary Riley

Rest In Peace Jack. Your positive impact on our firm was extraordinary and continued way past your retirement. When I joined Touche in Detroit in 1978, you were revered as one of the best. Condolences to your friends and family.

I am so grateful for Jack and his influence on so many levels - for introducing me to Touché Ross, for his confidence in this naive consultant, but mostly for his lessons on his respect for people and how to make them better.

Jack was my friend and confidant for over 50 years. While we were partners in our firm, we shared so much more than business. Over time we became like brothers sharing all the ups and downs associated with families and life in general. He was an outstanding man in all respects.

Ellen, I´m very sad to hear about Jack. I never got to meet him, but I know he was special because he loved someone as special as you. Love and heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Love, Wendy

My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. He was a good person and will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy to all.
