Not sure what to say?

This song was written in honor of Dr. Shea.

I just learned today of Dr. Shea's passing. My husband Robert Lewis Watkins was a patient of Dr. Shea's since 1967 as a 12 year old. Due to repeated infections all his life, he was finally referred to Dr. Shea. Robert was the first patient that he did a Stapedectomy on both ears because of his young age. We are so grateful to Dr. Shea for being such an excellent doctor and man. Robert is now wearing hearing aids because Dr. John did all he could do. Now Dr. Paul is Robert's doctor. We...

I am so sad to hear of Dr Shea passing, after several ear surgery I told my Dr in Middletown Ohio I can't live like this he said there is a Dr in Memphis Tennessee who can help you ,my reply was draw me map that was in 1978 ,Dr Shea gave me life, back I'm so grateful ,the last surgery was performed in 1994.Thank you Dr Shea

I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Shea's death.I will fondly remember him,and the years I worked for him.He was not just an employer,he was a friend,& was generous to all of his staff. Just being in his presence, you KNEW that you had the privilege & honor of being with GREATNESS.

I never knew this fine may, but he was the surgeon of our friend, wylie Tapp. Dr. Shea said that this was the worse case he had ever seen. The surgery took 3 times longer than usual, and it was a success. When Wylie told us about this, I wrote the lyrics to a song honoring Dr. Shea entitled "Gifted Hands." My husband Joey Welz, formerly of Bill Haley's Comets wrote the music. Wlie's wie Judy sang it, and my husband made a recording as well.

My heart is breaking and I shed tears for the man that changed my life. Prayers for his family. I thank him in heaven now as he knows how I feel about what he did for me. He did a stapedectomy on my right and left ear in 1990 and 1991. I also thank him for his dedication for what he loved and believed in. He was indeed a very special person.
