Not sure what to say?

My Beloved John,

The greatest joy of my life was being with you on November 27, 1997- the day you surprised me with the most eloquent and heartfelt proposal of marriage.

The greatest heartache of my life was being with you on November 27, 2009- the day that would be our last time together.

You were and always will be the Love of my Life.

My heart is heavy with sadness,
My tears continually flow,
For what it meant to lose you,
No one...

I met John a few months ago at St. Mary's parish in Norwalk, Ct., and I will never forget his devotion to God, and his witness and example of what a disciple of service and love should be; he will be greatly missed. "Quia tu es, Deus, fortitudo mea. Emitte lucem tuam, et veritatem tuam."

We thank the Lord for John's faith, and his witness.

There will be a Solemn High Requiem Mass in the Extraordinary Form at St. Mary Church in Norwalk on Saturday, January 2, at 11:00 am. See www.stmarynorwalk.net

I was very saddened to learn of John's tragic death. I met him after Mass only several months ago and hoped to be talking with him again in the near future. It was good to meet a person who truly loved God and his Catholic faith. May he rest in the peace of Christ our Savior.

We were so saddened to hear of the loss of John. Although we had known him only briefly, he and Luisa were a bright spot on their visit to NC. John is in a special place now and will rest comfortably in God's arms. Our prayers are with Luisa and all of John's family

We are saddened and heartbroken over the loss of John. We had so many fun times over the years with John and became part of his Connecticut Family. He was kind, generous, faithful to the lord and a wonderful friend. We will miss him, but know he is resting peacefully with God.
Our prayers and sympathy to you all.
With much love,

John,
You have raised the bar in so many ways. Your humor, professionalism, dedication, and spirituality have been an inspiration to me for a long time. My friendship with you has made me a better person. You will truly be missed. Your stories and jokes will often be imitated but NEVER be duplicated! A piece of you will remain in my heart forever.

Johnny,
You leave me with fond memories of...
Your Compassion for people and patients.
Your Intelligence.
Your Dedication to your profession.
Your Devotion to your Savior.
And my favorite, memories of our hysterical fun times!!!
Thank you for making me laugh everyday!
I will miss you.
Elaine

Kindhearted, generous, a true gentleman are only a few words that come to my mind when I think of John. His existence will always be remembered.
