On Wednesday, March 17, 2021, John Sheehy passed away peacefully at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Silverdale, WA following a brief illness.
He was born on December 3, 1959 in Seattle, WA to Dr. James Gerard and Marion Mary (Foy) Sheehy. Both preceded John in death.
John was raised on Queen Anne Hill and attended and graduated from St. Anne Catholic School and O’Dea High School. He was an avid soccer player, skier, and fisherman. He was well known for his kind, generous, trusting, and forgiving nature. John had the rare ability to see the best of everyone.
Survived by his daughter, Crystal Howard; grandchildren; companion, Donna Lopez; sisters, Elizabeth Campbell (Phil), Marianne Martinez (Ignacio), and Trish Anderson (Steve); and brother, James Gerard Sheehy Jr. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews as well as his beloved cousins who live in Scotland and England.
Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00am at
St. Anne Catholic Church
A Private Rite of Committal will follow the Mass for family members.
