Jay was the best Brother in law anyone could have. He was a wonderful Uncle to all 3 of my daughters, visiting often during their childhood always laden with gifts from him and Aunt Elaine. Dear Elaine, Irene and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the tragic loss of your beloved husband John.
I have known John since 1966 when I connected with him and Tom Brazaitis at the Euclid News Journal. I was the school's PR Director and wrote a weekly column for the Journal, thanks to John's urging and encouragement.
He was so talented as a writer and reporter. He could write articles that would make you cry or laugh...in the same story.

John was an All-Star Journalist and an All-Star human being.
His contributions to journalism at the Euclid News-Journal, The Plain Dealer, and Industry Week were of high quality -- and quantity! He was proud of both with good reason.
John was a classy guy and a friend to anybody and everybody he met along the way.
