Not sure what to say?

I really, really miss you, Daddy. I wish you and Mom were here to watch the game with me. Honestly, I wish I was there with you. Hopefully, it won't be too long.

Upon looking up Mr.s John Sherk im saddened to hear of his passing. He was my math teacher at RDV years ago. I remember him him as a warm, funny, friendly man, besides being a great teacher. My condolences to his family & friends. He was a great man. Ill try to add his autograph from my 1995 yearbook. RIP good sir.

Dear Sherk family, My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. May God bless you during this difficult time.
I had the pleasure of being the first of the Ramos family’s 6 children to have him as either a Social Studies or Math teacher. I was at RDV in 1968-69 and he was my Social Studies teacher. He is one of the teachers that I remember because of his smile and his ability to teach and keep our interest in class. I thank you Mr. Sherk for your dedication to all of the lives...

I worked at RDV with John for many years, until his retirement. When I first started teaching, he came to my room to fetch me to eat in the staff lunchroom, with the comment, “Remember to always have some adult time during the school day....and always be nice to the school secretary because if you aren’t, you’ll never get another pencil again!” Lunch and staff meetings were always a joy because of his sense of humor and kindness. I am saddened at hearing of his passing. The memory of his...

Dear Shirk family, I am so grateful that I had a little piece of this Great mans life for 2 years at RDV. He was funny and very fair. He truly cared for his students. It was a joy to find out at that time my sister also had him years earlier. You’ll never be forgotten Sir.... Respectfully Robert Baird

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Sherk. I was one of his RDV students, and I am sure my youthful naïveté got the best of me at times in his class, however his quick wit put me in my place more than once I am sure.
Please accept my prayers during this time and always for your family.

Mr. Sherk was my 7th grade math teacher at RDV in 1968. I was lucky to work with Peg at McDonalds Telegraph where I was happy to see him as he came to visit Peg. I was also lucky to know his children. RIP Mr. Sherk and God bless the entire Sherk family.

My condolences goes out to the entire family. I had Mr. Sherk at RDV as a teacher back around 1970-72. He was a very nice man and I am sure he left an impact on so many lives. R.I.P. Mr. Sherk & Thank You. Rick Torres
