Not sure what to say?

Dear Betsy, Mary Ann and family,

I thought about your Father and Mother the other day, and just how extraordinary they both were in our lives, and in the lives of so many others....I simply decided to look online, and saw your Father's obituary---I am so saddened, as my sister Loris is as well. Both of your parents were amazing human beings, and we have such wonderful and lovely memories of time spent at your home, with you all. My Mother and I adored your Mother; she was so very...

Rest in peace, Papa John. It was a privilege to know you.

With love,

Rachel, Kirsty, Jeanette and George

Dear Betsey and Mary Ann,
Please know what a privilege it was to know your amazing father in his leadership role at the AAMC and following his retirement. His talent, intellect and humanity inspired everyone who was fortunate enough to to become his friend. I will be forever influenced by him as was my late husband, Nate. With sincere sympathy and deep appreciation, Linda Blank

Betsy and Mary Ann,
I just learned that your dad passed away. His achievements were remarkable. He also was a kind, compassionate person. He and Deane made such an
outstanding couple. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of the Sherman-Murray family.
Love, Cheri

I never had the pleasure of meeting John but my husband Garvin thought very highly of him. I did meet his wife Deane who was a wonderful person.

I knew Dr. Sherman when we both worked at AAMC. He was so generous with his time and expertise, helping those of us more junior in our careers as if we were a special interest of his. A wonderful, wonderful man.

A very great and gentle man. He will be much missed.
