John Sherrin Obituary
Mr. Sherrin, 67 years old, died November 24, 2005 at his residence, with his loved ones by his side. He had six children, Patricia Cherry, Ronnie Sherrin, Sr., Judy Henderson, Daniel Sherrin, Tommy Sherrin, and James Sherrin; sister, Marcell Webber; 14 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sherrin.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Saturday at McEwen Charlotte Chapel, with a graveside service to begin at 1:00 PM PM at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Reverend Beth Brittain will officiate.
Mr. Sherrin was born August 23, 1938 in Mecklenburg County, son of the late John B. and Dezzie May McCoy Sherrin. He retired from Creative Coating after 12 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era.
Thank you for raising the six children you had, and for doing all you could. We all understand. Love, your children.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, c/o Presbyterian Hospital, PO 33549, Charlotte, NC 28233.
