To say that I was shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing is an understatement. I have known John for around 40 years, although we had lost touch recently. John was an enthusiastic member of the Thursday Football Club in Houston and his contribution on the field was much appreciated by his fellow teammates. He was a fabulous character and I know that he will be sorely missed. My sincerest condolences to Nancy and all of John's family.
