To Mike and all the Sherzers - I just heard of your dad's death and am so saddened. Both he and your mom made all of us catholic school nomad kids, especially those of us coming from a distance, feel at home. I loved spending time in your home and enjoyed listening to your dad hold court about history, especially military history. Jack was a wonderful, caring man - always giving of himself. He added so much to my childhood. I can't believe that I spent Monday nights shooting a rifle at the rifle range! Jack made life interesting for all of us in the neighborhood. I believe he is in heaven now, joyfully reunited with Kathy. Peace to all the Sherzer families.
