Not sure what to say?

Just found out on John's passing. So sorry Linda. I taught with John at the citadel in 1979 to 1981and was a close friend. He was the BEST at everything he participated in. Paul Thayer USN Commander retired.

What a loss! Not just to his loved ones, relatives, his friends but those who knew John. Always impeccably dressed, John was kind and caring.Never meet a stranger. He was a man of men and the world would be a better place with more men like John Shields. God Bless.

Vicky/Linda,

So sorry for your lost, my love and prayers to you in this time.

Mrs. Shields and Vicky,

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your husband, and father, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Yours,
Ethel Bashir

So sorry to hear Buzzy passed...he was a classmate at Townsecd TN. for 12 years and my neighbor also. Last saw him at our class reunion in 1996. Rest in peace Buzzy...this was his nickname all through school!

Linda, I was sorry to read about my good friend for many years as you know. I have not heard from you and John in a long time. If I can help you call me.
