Not sure what to say?

I remember John fondly. He was a kind and caring man who was very good to our twin sons John and Michael. He lived a very meaningful life. And he will be remembered.

Jack was my manager in Union when I was a "green" salesman" and he was instrumental in helping my career path get into motion. He was a delight to work for.

I was very saddened to read about the death of Mr and Mrs Shiels within three weeks of each other. I did not know Margaret, but did have the pleasure of volunteering with Jack at Holly Manor, together with my twin sons. Jack was an extremely caring and giving man, and set a wonderful example for our then 12 year old sons. He was gracious enough to write each of them a heartfelt recommendation for Delbarton. I will always be grateful to him. We would often see Jack and Margaret around...

Please know of my prayerful condolences on learning of John´s passing - my sincere sympathy to Ruth and to their daughters and grandchildren. I regret being unable to attend either John´s Wake or funeral Mass: please know that he, and all his loved ones, are in my prayers.

Being a nurse I was blessed to have known Jack from Holly Manor, a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile on his face. He was an encouragement to so many around him. He will be missed.

I am saddened to learn of Jack´s passing, and I offer prayerful condolences to Ruth and all Jack´s Family. I remember him with respect and gratitude from my years at Immaculate Conception, Montclair, for advice that was always reliable and generously offered. I will remember him at Mass, and pray that God will touch Jack´s loved ones with His peace.
