Not sure what to say?

It was a pleasure to know and work with John back in the day. John always was someone who had a smile and a dry sense of humor.

Dear Marion and family
We were saddened when we heard that John had past we are the ones that feel the pain, but we know for sure without a doubt John has no more pain or aches he is in his heavenly HOME, the ONE that he talked and walked the walk to everyone. What a blessed testimony for Marion to see, a child bearing all the fruits that so many has spoke about. As parents we don't normally get to see that. Marion you are special and our love and prayers are with you and your family

Dear Mary, John Jr and Becky, Your husband and father was to me a man's man and a friend. He had a pastors heart with the transparency of a best friend. He took me and my son to our first stock car race at Bridgeport. When I was a bit bored at a dinner or reception, as soon as John arrived I was happy to be there! I am praying for comfort for all of us, until we meet him at Jesus' feet!

Mary, I'm very sad for your loss of your beloved John. What a fun loving guy he was. I can only imagine what he'll be like in heaven now. I will raise your family in my prayers to our great God to comfort you during these upcoming days, weeks and months.

Dear Mrs. Shipley (Chauncey), Mary and family,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. John was a wonderful guy even though he teased unmercigully at times. I remember meeting John through YFC a very long time ago, probably around 1971 and later the rest of your dear family. John was a pastor long before he was formally ordained, I can remember many talks and his Godly advice down in Ocean City during YFC weeks and later on in your home in Glassboro. I am so sad to know he is no longer...

Dear Shipley Family, I worked with John when it was IBEW local #592 and always enjoyed his happy disposition and his joking around. I also enjoyed those serious conversations about the bible when he was beginning to get serious with God. It was a pleasure to have known him and it is unfortunate that we haven't seen each other in many years still my memories of him are fond.
Be comforted in the Lord that He will grant you peace and comfort knowing that he is with his Saviour Jesus Christ.

Marion and family: so sorry to read and hear about your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Be strong and know that your son in no longer suffering. Love and my deepest sympathy to you all,
Jayne Sasdelli Headley

Dear Marian
I had the pleasure of working with John, his father and his brother Billy. John will always be rememberd by me as an excellent craftsman who always had a ready smile a quick wit and always willing to do that little extra without complaining. John was a friend to all who knew him.
We will miss him.
