I loved talking to him. And after I left I thought of him often. When I did make it back down there as luck would have it I got to see him. And it was the same John. Kind words and a big hug. I remember John always joking around even when he had health problems. He loved his pets, especially his dog Missy. John was a very unique individual, -- talented and creative with wood working. It was a privilege to know him.
