Not sure what to say?

I express my deepest sympathy for John's entire Family. I had the privilege to work for John at his tooling company. John , Leslie and LJ were wonderful to work for, a very giving family. Loved the golf outings, his hunting stories, and just being around him. Godspeed on you journey my friend. And my support goes out to Leslie and John's Family

I send my sincere condolences to the family. I knew John when he had a sales territory. Later after starting his own company he called at an account I called on in Kokomo. Chrysler Transmission. I had the opportunity to play golf with John once and he was a delight to be with. I remember he always referred to his son as "Booker" and I never knew why. I just know he loved his family. May he rest in peace with my other departed friends from Norton. Mark Fratantonio

I worked for John in Cincinnati. The gray Corvette he bought....the parties at his house ...nice memories. I miss his laugh.

I´ve only known Senior for about maybe ten years now. But I had the pleasure of meeting him and Leslie and Junior working at Sunnehanna. Right away they were always so kind and treated me like family. Always bringing in what they´d reaped from their gardens which was always way more than the whole staff could eat in a week. His kindness and generosity were paramount. And his big HA! laugh. Unmistakably. Much love to Leslie and his entire family and all who loved him.

John it is hard to believe you have left us. You were certainly one of the most vibrant personalities I ever meet and I'm sure others who knew you would agree. I can still hear your laugh at dinners during our sales meetings. It did as someone else said, light up the room. I knew you throughout your entire career at Norton Company as salesman and a sales manager. You were the best at what you did. We had a lot of fun over the years and I will cherish those memories forever. Rest in peace my...

John was a special person who got everything out of life possible . He loved people and lit up a room when he entered. A consummate salesman , John truly enjoyed many different ways to entertain his customers. His love for hunting, golf and fishing was legendary and he excelled in a little know skill, cooking ! There are so many great memories of John they good fill a book . My sympathy go out to Leslie and John Jr and the rest of his family .

I had the honor of working for John in his first stint as a district sales manager based out of Cincinnati, Ohio in the early '80s. John was an absolute master at entertaining customers and I have many fond memories of time spent with him. Condolences to his entire family. He will be greatly missed. RIP John.

Condolences to Leslie and LJ. John was my manager and friend at Norton / Saint Gobain. He was one of the best, and a man who lived life to its fullest and shared life with all. His smile and laugh were ever present. It was a pleasure to have known John. Memories of golf times at Sewickly and Latrobe are forever, as were those great hunting dinners. Rest well John.

John was my first corporate boss and become a mentor both professionally and personally. He had a big heart and lived life to its fullest. Many fond memories with him that I will hold close forever. My prayers and thoughts go out to Leslie, LJ and the rest of the family. May god bless during these difficult times. Brett Fulford
