Not sure what to say?

Just read about Jack Simmerling's death in the "Notre Dame" magazine. I used to love to visit his wonderful Gallery and I do have his book "Chicago Homes".
plus a lithograph of Notre Dame's campus The Gallery was a place of peace and beauty in Beverly and I will always remember Jack's kind face. How I wish I had told him then how much he and the Gallery meant to me. I like to think he knew.

Gone but not forgotten, just like the beautiful homes he wrote about. My condolences to...

Sorry for your lost. He was greatly loved and will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Simmerling. We moved to Beverly in 1973; the Heritage Gallery, at that time on 111th Street, was ( and continues) to be the place I always brought my artwork for beautiful framing Mr.Simmerling had a very special gift, an "eye" , for helping me select professionally enhancing matting and framing for my artwork . I will miss Jack's welcoming and smiling face as he greeted me when I visit the Heritage Gallery. Know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Our sincerest condolences in t he loss of such a wonderful man! I just found out and my heart goes out to all of you. He was truly an angel of a man and will be truly missed.

Sympathies to the family. I knew Jack from the days when he ran the gallery on 111th. Our home has nary a piece of wall art that he didn't have part in framing or creating. He always was full of stories about the history of not only the neighborhood, but the country. He lit up when he spoke of history and architecture. We shared a love of architecture and design. A wonderful, wonderful man, talented, thoughtful and caring. He will be greatly missed. He brought so much to not only...

May your family find comfort in each other and in the many happy memories you shared. Our deepest sympathy

Praying that your hearts will soon know God's gentle peace and comfort. God bless John and all the Simmerling Family.

Our condolences...The Richard Moeller Family
