Not sure what to say?

going to miss deacon simon. He was a great man and love the lord

He was a real Teacher and mentor for word of God

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Deacon Simon discovered that we shared a birthday when I was 5 years old. For more than 50 years, he acknowledged "our special day". I shall always cherish his commitment and consistency. May our great God continue to keep and comfort those who were touched by his life.

We were next door neighbors of John for 4 years very nice family and a exceptional kind gentlemen. We are sorry for your loss.
Our best, Michael and Dianne Grome

Deacon Simon was not only one of my father's (Elder Joseph Matthews Jr.) dearest friends but also a true man of God. He and his wife were there for our family many times and they always showed themselves to be godly examples before us. Deacon Simon loved the Lord and his words and actions showed as much. Our greatest consolation during this difficult time is knowing that he is in the arms of our Lord. Our prayers go out to his family and those who knew him so well. God Bless.

My Condolences to Mother Simon and family. Deacon was like a father to me. Always encouraged me with kind words and wisdom. Grew up under him and with all the family at Gospel Temple Cogic. Will miss seeing him when i visit Syracuse. So many of God's saints are leaving. But their legacy lives thru us. Be blessed and encouraged family.
