Lura and i share your loss of John with great sadness. We remember many happy times with you both in Fairbanks and later when we ended up neighbors in Tucson. We enjoyed hearing of your experiences in South Africa and then moving to Fairbanks. John always had that happy side to your lives, and this we will really miss.

I was so sad to read of John passing away! I worked at Alaska Airlines and looked forward to seeing John whenever he flew out! Such a kind man! I was thinking about him recently and wondered how he and you were doing. He was a special man and I am so glad I got to know him!
