Not sure what to say?

Barbara, Johnny and family, I am so sorry to learn of John's death. I did not hear about his passing until Thursday afternoon, otherwise I would have contacted you.
John was a good guy who I considered a friend and he will be missed.

John was a good friend in high school and long after high school. I had a passion for cars however my passion for them did not match John's.......he was a Corvette fan for sure and he liked to go fast LOL! John was always even keeled and could be counted on to remain calm in any situation. Although my wife and I moved from WF in 2012 I kept in touch now and then with John and would see him on the few times I've been back to WF. I was saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. I'm out of the...

John, and the Simms', were one of the first friends - families I remember meeting back in the late 40's or early 50's, probably when i was 3 or 4. I have a lot of fond memories of those days and all the mischief he and I got into as kids. There were a lot of kids in that neighborhood, not long after WWII, and later we would be called baby boomers. The Ronnie and Lana Johnson, Tony, Pamela and Tina Moore, Sharon Powell, the Grimes and Harmons' and many more. Once John and I were popping caps...

I always liked John. He was a pleasure to work with at WFPD. I never knew he was in RECON, Semper Fi from a former sailor.

John and Barbara were our neighbors for about 16 years. We have many wonderful memories together. We’ve loved this family for many years. Rest In Peace John! You will be missed!

My deepest sympathy for your loss Barbara, John Jr, Kiddy and Jim, and family.
I was so very sad to hear this morning from my brother Mike about “Johnny”....as I always remember him!
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you! Heartfelt sympathy!
I have known Johnny since we were all little kids on the original Kemp St. when homes were first being built there. Our families were some of the very first to buy and move into new homes there. I have very fond...

I knew John threw his wife , Barbara Gayle, a cherished friend of many years.

I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed John's visits when we had our place at PK Lake and he would stop by to say hi. He was always full of fun and laughter. Sending prayers and hugs to you and the family.
