Not sure what to say?

When I think about John, I think of Tujague's. Steve is sitting in his spot at the back corner table, Forrest-the Startender- is behind the bar, there's a Saint's game on the television, Wigget and Brazzi are at the bar along with all the cast, of some of the best characters, a gal could ever hope to know. John's got an iced, cold Budweiser in his coozie & he's talkin' trash, making everyone laugh & laugh & laugh! Looking at those eyes of his...they were something else, so bright,...

As I sit here writing your eulogy, I can't help but think how lucky I was to have you in my life. You were a rock and a great teacher in my life. Your lessons will help guide me throughout my live, both personally and professionally. Towards the end, you always asked how you would repay me...you had that all wrong. I'm still working on repaying you, and I will continue to do so throughout the rest of my time on this earth by sharing with the world what you taught me...by making others laugh...

Brother John is gone, but will never be forgotten. From his Banana Room' apartment at 1223, to Johnny Matassa's, to Ursuline, and all points between, it was a fun ride!

John Sipos was as New Orleans as they come
He was a famous local spirit.destined for greatness . He lived New Orleans, he was a true New Orleanean. A person you couldn't miss , and will be greatly missed. He had his own barstool at Tujaques When Steven Ladder died John lost his best friend, never recovered from that great loss. John is in Gods hands. Rest In Peace dear friend . I will love you always as will the rest of your family & friends.

Beth, Joe, Mike, and family. Very sorry to hear about John. I met him at Two Jerks (Tujague's) years ago and could not believe how entertaining he could be. Then again--he was a Sipos. Take care and hope to see you all soon.

Brother John Homie is missing you big time...
We always kept each other entertained... The associated stories from fond memories kept a roar in us which made for bright outlook into our future... You always cared about my well being and I yours and for the last seven years we were phone buddies speaking for at least 45 min. at a stretch.... We were going to get that cabin in the woods a big unrealistic dream considering we both have spinal stenosis and herniated disk.... Lol can you...

Dear John, you are my favorite cuz. I love your personality and your smile. You always made me laugh . Say hi to my godmother, aunt Patsy, and to my dad, your uncle JD. You always talked about my dad and gave me stories I have never heard. You loved him so. Now have a cup of coffee for me . I will miss you very much I love you so much. God speed and God bless you

John could aggravate the hell out of you, but he also made you laugh like no other. He loved life, his family and friends to the moon. You're the greatest John, thanks for the memories.
