It has been over 10 years since our dear 'Uncle Jack' passed away, and I thought it appropriate to write some words about this wonderful man and the Sissons family, as his sister (and my aunt) Claudia has died as well as his brother David (my uncle) recently left this planetary sphere. Perhaps some people who knew Jack are not aware that Jack and my Mother, Jean Grenier met and lived in Port Coquitlam together for almost 9 months when Mom passed away on Feb. 3, 2006. I met Jack in the late 90's at our favourite pub and developed a learning, respectful relationship with him. I introduced my Mother to Jack and shortly afterwards they were living together. As it turned out, Mother shared the rest of her life with him. Jack and Jeannie had one of those rare relationships that...

I have so many fond memories of Jack in the years he came and stayed with us and visited. He was there when his guest bed fell in (thank goodness he laughed) and also when I kareened down the stairs on the Kim's baby gate trying to prevent her from falling - I screamed and he came running to save me.
