Hi Uncle John - It's me, your favorite. I was just sitting here missing you and I thought I would write. You are so missed down here. Please watch over us. We love you.

Charleen,
I am sorry to learn of your loss. It is very painful to lose a loved one, especially someone who has been such a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. I read the notice of John's passing and was impressed by his great career and the 50 years of marriage you and he had. I know your family is experiencing profound grief, but the support you have for each other will help you through this tough time. All the best to you.

Charleen (and family) Betty and I were so sorry to receive the news that John had lost his struggle with cancer. You were such a blessing to me "back in the old days" at Sears and bringing John into "our Sears family" was just iceing on the cake --- Wish we were still in IL to give you a hug

How you knew she was there, we'll never know, but to hear the stories about my Mom, because she couldn't speak, and my father, because he wasn't ever there to tell us himself, was something that my childten or myself will never forget. When you two came to my fathers funeral, after...

Charlene & Family,
May your heart & soul find peace and comfort. With love & remembrance.
