Not sure what to say?

Hi Slap. Just stopping by to say hello and let you know that you are not forgotten. I know I will see you again some day.

Johnny B.
One year has passed and i think about you often. As Joan expressed, things around here have changed at the School of Ed. and i can only speak for one of your girls, but how i miss your presense. See you on the other side Johnny B.

Slap,
Hard to believe that it will be one year ago that we got that call. Our world changed forever. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and wonder how Isaiah is doing. I hope he remembers you as the smart, funny, caring person that you were; and how important you were to the School of Education at Pitt. You wouldn't recognize the place anymore. Our group has moved on and gone separate ways...nothing will ever be the same. Miss you.

Slap and the gang from Pitt

Hey SLAP, I remember our High School days in South Fayette. You were Hip & Popular & a talented Football player. Everyone respected you as it was obvious your were naturally a cool cat. I'm shocked & saddened at the news of your passing, I'll see u on the other side & look forward to more good times getting to know you.

ISSAIH I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS OF YOUR DAD. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO YOU.
~WILL~

John was such a treasure to us at the School of Education at Pitt. His many tales of his son Isiah would have us in stitches. When John spoke of Isiah, his face would light up like a X-mas Tree.

We used to play a game called "give John a middle name". We were all telling our middle names and found out that John only had the initial "B". We would search the internet for names beginning with B.
We were determined to find him a middle name.

I never realized how much...

Not a day goes by that we don't think about you or talk about you. You will live in our hearts forever.
Your friends from the old days at the University of Pittsburgh School of Education.

To the Family:
I was so sorry to hear about "Slapp". He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
