Not sure what to say?

NY has lost a news reporter who had a great and terrific clear voice to listen to nightly. My sincere condolences to his own family and the CBS news family.

As a child, I remember seeing him on Channel 7 Eyewitness News. He reminded me so much of my cousin Padraig in Ireland: tall, good-looking, with that ginger hair. . . I am sorry for your loss. Gone too soon. May he rest in peace. Amen.

My condolences to the Slattery family. A regular guy who was an extraordinary man. Watched him countless times on the news over the past 35 years. I will miss him. God bless you, John.
