Not sure what to say?

So sad to hear about John´s passing. We all loved him. He was such a kind and gentle man. May he rest in peace.

Heard about this from an old classmate this week. Coach Slaughter was a great coach, a great dad, and a great role model in Galt. Wishing the family the best.

May God bless your family. Heartfelt Condolences to the family. We knew John and his family from the Amherst neighborhood back in the day. I had John in my class and my sister had Bruce in hers at St. Annes. We all used to hangout and go to each other's birthday parties back in the day! He was a great friend. He will be sorely missed!

I knew John from school and we lived in the same neighborhood. Would go to his birthday parties and hang out on the weekends. He was always, kind, respectful, ambitious and full of life. Sending Condolences and prayers. Always, Debbie (Lopez) Colquitt

Deborah and family, so sorry to hear of John's passing. I am heartbroken . Condolences to you and the family. Sending BIG HUGS and PRAYERS you all.

I worked with John at UC Davis. He was wonderful, fun, hard working and someone I could always depend on. I´m so sorry to hear of his passing, such a loss for all who loved and knew John. My sympathies to his wife, children and family.

LaRue´s and Slaughter´s.....Family Forever. Rest in Heaven Johnny. Your laughter was contagious. I know you´re in Heaven making everyone laugh and smile

Johnny you are family. We grew up together and were always smiling and kind to everyone. My deepest condolences to the rest of the family. I also want to thank you for saving my best friend Kevin´s life when he had a stroke. You will be missed.
