I learned of my 1st cousin John's passing through Ancestry.com today. Although I have not seen my Slocum cousins since the mid 60's and we have not followed each other's lives, I am saddened to learn of his sudden passing. John sounds like he was a great, loving guy. Peace to his wife Janet Lynn and Bella. Condolences to families of cousins Jeff and Debbie.

I grew up with John and just heard that he passed. He was a great kid and never do I remember him every saying anything bad about anyone. He always had this mischievous smile on his face and a ready laugh. I am sorry for your loss - he was way too young.
