I was very sorry to hear of Johns passing. He always had a smile and would sometimes give us a little song when he would visit the Anderson Island Store. John and Betty have been longtime neighbors and friends. My thoughts and preyers are with you all at this trying time.

Betsy, my condolences on the loss of your dad. Losing a parent is a difficult experience. When my father died someone told me as long as some one is loved and remembered, they never truly die. This has always comforted me when I think of my parents. I hope you can find some solace in it as well.
