Barb and all of the Sobeck family, my deepest sympathy. John will be sorely missed by many. I have so many wonderful memories of times spent together. May you find comfort in your family and friends during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

John was more like an uncle to me than my own family, and I am forever grateful for that. He and my dad (Ross) were great friends. Some of my favorite childhood memories are shared with my dad and John around the boats and the yacht club. He always took care of me after my dad passed. My heart hurts for the Sobeck family, and for our own. This is for sure a loss felt far and wide.
