My deepest condolences to the entire Sobieski Family. I went to Air Force basic training with John in 1995 and roomed with him during our training phase.
I remember his kindness, wit, and most of all his sense of humor. It's been years since we spoke and today something told me to look John up, only to learn the news of his passing. My brother in blue, may God rest your soul.

I am so saddened to hear of John's passing. He was a wonderful man and respected police officer. I had the fortunate opportunity to know John as Chief of police and as a loving father to his son. He will be dearly missed.
