John C. Soeth

Thanks to each and everyone of you who have prayed and supported our family through these hard times. I'm proud to have had a father so respected and loved by his peers and so many of our friends.

The Burlington Kiwanis Civic Band would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Soeth family. John and his wife were great supporters of the Burlington Kiwanis Civic Band. He was always there for any needs or concerns the band may have. With John's and his fellow Kiwanians help, the band was given financial support that contunues to help the band give concerts every summer in Burlington. We will miss his smiling face, but will remember all the wonderful things he has done for the band and...

My mother, Alice Bales, called yesterday to tell me of Mr. Soeth's ("Jack" to our family) passing. The Soeth and Bales family had a lot in common: we moved to Burlington in 1963, lived just around the corner from each other, and my dad, Gerry, worked in the Burlington school system with Jack. Craig Soeth, Jack's son, and I were great friends through elementary and junior high, and I remember countless trips together to BHS football and basketball games...Jack, Gerry, Craig, Tom...

He was the best Grandfather I could have ask for. He will be deeply missed by his whole family.

We wish to express our sincere sympathy to all family & friends. John was customer of ours for many years and always brightened our day. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. John will definitely be missed by our staff.
