Dear Mark and Family, Your Dad was a good friend, a gentle man with a giant heart. Jack always had good advice and was a "go to" guy with wisdom and insight beyond most. A complete honor and privilege to have known him. RIP, my friend. Sincere condolences to your family, Chuck Morano (Ret. Det. Monroe, PD.)

So sorry to hear of your dad´s death, John and Mark. He was an outstanding man. I will never forget how he jumped to aid the bus driver on a 3rd grade field trip. He was a man with a gentle contagious smile. From what I see and hear you have both become fine men. Back when I was a young teacher your parents grew to be two of my favorite people. My deepest sympathy,

Chief Solomon was an honorable man. As a journalist covering Easton, I always enjoyed my interactions with him. He was a law enforcement professional who treated people with respect.
