My family and I have known the Sparks since we first joined the NM Mycological Society more than 30 years ago. John and Mary Lee were always so kind and welcoming to our young family, at the time, new to New Mexico.
I remember vividly how John's smile would light up the room!
I am very sad to hear of his passing. He will be missed.
