John passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. John was a resident of Brockton, Massachusetts at the time of passing. Born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, John was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. Following graduation he enlisted in the US Coast Guard during WWII. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9am followed by burial in Melrose Cemetery.

So many great memories at the Enterprise. He taught us all the art of printing newspapers. I will always remember his sense of humor, especially at the bowling league. He was always looking over my wife's shoulder when she was keeping score, making sure she added correctly (she was a school teacher). He made her a nervous wreck!

To the Spatola family,
I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Spatola. I grew up with Michael and I have fond memories of Mr. and Mrs. Spatola. They were so very kind to me as a kid and I will never forget that. My most sincere condolences to the entire Spatola family.

Dad...we loved you very, very deeply. We will miss our times together with you at the head of our family and all of the stories you shared whenever we were togther. Rest in peace Dad.
