I miss my dad. Although us kids were raised in the suburbs, dad gave me an appreciation for many "country" skills like making preserves, baking, bee keeping,and gardening. He took us to lots of cool places such as Crater Lake, the Pinnacles, and Little Basin.

John was my older brother and a second father to me and our younger brother, Elbert who passed away in 1960. I know he is in a better place now. I loved him very much.
