Read MoreI, too, just learned of John´s passing by reading the miamian magazine. I went to Mayfield High as well as Miami U with John. He was exceptionally nice and was a friend to my gang of girlfriends. I especially remember his sense of humor and gentle voice. My heart goes out to his family.

I just found out about the passing of John and am crushed by the news. We were very close friends from our days at Miami University and after graduation when we moved back to Cleveland and started our first jobs. We were co-chairs of our Miami Yearbook together. He was such a beautiful man - loved his family and always had a smile on his face. I will miss him not being on this planet. - Jackie Goldstein
