Not sure what to say?

Kelly-

I went to Paschal with you and remember your vivacious personality well. I was looking for a close friends obituary when i ran across your fathers'. I am so sorry for your loss, and just know that everything has its purpose. Please don't stop smiling; though i did not know your father i am sure he wouldnt want you stop.

Dear Kathy,

I wish to express my sincere sympathy to you and your daughters for the loss of your husband. You are one of the sweetest and most committed volunteers at the YWCA I have ever met. I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and your family during the coming days and months. May he bless and keep you in his care.

Kathy, Kelly and Kimberly:

Just wanted you to know I can not get all of you off my mind. I pray for all of you everyday. It is very hard for me to believe that John is gone. Alicia and Lisa are also in my prayers. I know how hard is must be for them also. My thoughts, prayers and love are with all of you. At this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I went to Parkway West in St. Louis with John back in the early 70's. My family lived up the hill from the Spicers and I remember their house being where we all wanted to hang out. It was always exciting there. As often happens, I had lost touch with John in recent years, but I will always remember his quick laugh, easy smile, and great pleasure when he would beat you in ping-pong. I was just trying to organize some pictures a few weeks ago, and I ran across some...

Kathy, Kelly & Kim:

I cannot think of a better father-in-law than John. John always treated me like family and made me feel welcome in your home. I will never forget the lunch over at Ridglea when I asked him for his blessing to marry Kelly. Like always, John could not have been any kinder with his words or his actions. I will miss his commentary during movies and baseball games. John was always great to me and I am glad that he and I became such good friends. I will miss his...

I am so sorry to hear about the death of John Spicer. I always will remember John's permanent smile and his unique laugh and great sense of humor. John was an avid golfer and I remember working and planning the Golfing for dollars fundraiser with John. Great friend, family man and husband. He will be missed, but, his good natured spirit and love of people will always be remembered. Sorry, I had to miss the funeral - It could not be avoided. Love to the Spicer family.

John was the brightest star in our family. He will be missed by all.
