Mr. Spring was my shop teacher in the late sixties and our youngest son had him also. He was best teacher ever. One time he said to me, that's tough sledding. I said what does that mean. He explained it and I've used the expression ever since. I smile every time I use it. I'm sure he will be missed greatly. With deepest sympathy.
