I only spent the last year of high school in Tully but John and others welcomed me with open arms and continued to do so even up to last year when I saw him in Tully and in Florida. I was so fortunate to grow up in Tully with Long-John as my boyhood friend. I have hundreds of wonderful memories. The late forties and early fifties was such a special and grand time to be a teen and to have John as my best friend was gift, an amazing gift. Be with God Long-John. Mert
