Not sure what to say?

John & Elspet are amongst our dearest friends. John and I often teased each other because he was English and I am Welsh. We knew it was only teasing, but we had a wonderful bond in our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. Denzil and I will miss you terribly John, but thank God for getting to know you well over the past 10 years, you will be missed at the Nanaimo Senior's Home taking part in the Hymn Sing.

My deepest sympathy to Elspeth an family. He will be an enormous miss to all of you. A wonderful man with a wonderful sense of humour.

My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time, Elspet. I will always remember John's sense of humour and his wonderful smile especially when we were Scottish Country Dancing. I shall miss him lots.

A great photo of John from 7 years ago, before all that pain began to set in. He was such great company!

I will never forget the wonderful hours we spent together. The breakfasts, the walks, the serious conversations, and the silly fun talks we had.

Anne and I were deeply saddened to learn of your tragic loss, Elspet. John was such a wonderful person to be around with a very ready smile and a marvelous sense of humour; he will be sadly missed. Please accept our deepest sympathies to you and the family. Euan and Anne Frew.

Marguerite and John

Our condolences, heartfelt sympathy and sincere love to Elspet and family. We will forever have very fond memories of John and his smile and his spontaneous sociability. A lovely man.

Did not have time to get to know you very well John, but what I did get to know about you, when we sat together at our Pollyanna's coffee group, suggested someone wonderful, tolerant and open-minded. May The Good Lord keep you in his bosom until we meet again!
