Not sure what to say?

I only heard recently about John's passing. I attended St. Anthony's with John and lived across the street from his cousin, Cynthia and 2 doors from his grandfather and aunt, Virginia. Although I lost touch with him, I still remember his great love of sports and his kind, outgoing and caring nature. He always sold the most subscriptions to the New World Catholic newspaper. John, you will always remain in my thoughts.
You were a great guy!

We will miss John dearly. He was a great guy and would always make us laugh when we would visit him at Blackhawk practices.

His contagous smile will always be remembered :)
He was a great guy

John was and will be one of the best persons I have ever had the pleasure to have known. From our first meetings at a charity softball game between my Cook County Sheriff's Police team and the Chicago Blackhawk team through our many friends and acquaintances in the world of pro wrestling.John will be missed and remembered by all who knew him."Fun" will always be the key word when my now grown kids and I think of John!God Bless You,John and his family!

Dave - We just learned about the loss of your brother John. Our deepest sympathy is with you and your family during this difficult time.

If you played hockey, you have something to look forward to seeing in the locker rooms at the United Center and Stan Mikita's Hockey School and that is John. If you're going to the nitelife scene on Division and Rush Streets, you surely will find John there too! I am glad I had you as a friend and I will miss you. Sincerely yours, Jay Vendola-former AHIHA hockey player

We are sorry to hear about your loss. We knew John for over 25 years through the team, and always had a great time with him going out for "pops" after the games. It was great to see him last year with Chris Chelios and J.R. at the golf outing and reminiscing about the old times. Our prayers are with you at this very sad time.

John: You were always so good to us, always had a kind word and a smile. Even though you didn't always agree with our requests you did them. Working with you was great. You are going to be missed.

I am saddened to hear about John. My deepest sympathies to his family. I remember seeing John at the bar in Michael Anthony's every now and then, and even at the United Center. A good man. He will be missed.
