I worked with Jack many years ago at Cahill Gordon & Reindel. Whereas many senior attorneys and partners were reluctant to hand over responsibility to young associates, Jack let me assist him with arbitrations, witness preparation, meetings with clients, and legal analysis of the situation at hand. Jack was like a 2nd parent to me, especailly after my father died many years ago. His son John has always been one of my closest of friends and still is today.
When I think of Jack Stanton, fond memories always come to mind on aventures of cross country skiing, and attending sporting events in New York for the so called "guts night out on the town."
My throughts, prayers will always be with Jack and the condolences to the entire Stanton family. God Bless!
