John A. Starcevic

John A. Starcevic, 89, of Stanton Heights, died Monday, March 24, 2008. Beloved husband of Ann (Maglicic) Starcevic; loving father of John N. (MaryAnn) Starcevic, of Charlotte, N.C., Christine (Regis) Tomsey, of Latrobe, and Michael J. (Meg) Starcevic, of Charlotte, N.C.; devoted grandfather of John Peter (Jen) Starcevic, of Philadelphia, Michael Starcevic, of Chicago, Alyssa Tomsey, of Latrobe, and Nicholas Starcevic, of Charlotte; cherished great-grandfather of John Ronald Starcevic; brother of the late Anna Leise and Mary Starcevic and Tonica Milosevic, both of Lic, Croatia. John was a member of the C.F.U. Lodge No. 29, Croatian Javor Hall, Holy Name of St. Nicholas Church, North Shore AARP No. 4215 and was a retiree of Teamsters Local 249. Family and friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th St., Lawrenceville. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Nicholas Church. Interment in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
