John R. Stas

Jumbo Stas was a strong, principled man who worked hard, took good care of his family, with the help of his wife who was steadfastly devoted to him. The muttered their children with strong family values, and, in turn, they raised their children with these same values.
What better way to preserve his legacy? Something that will continue to be passed on for several more generations. May God Bless you and keep you in the light of His Eternal Grace, Jumbo!!

John, Robert, Tom, David, Benedict, Don, Diane, Marian, & Ethel and all in your families,
Your beloved dad will not only be missed by all of you, but by me as well. He lived a rich life, was proud of all of you, and suffered his "purgatory" in these last years.
In fact when he and I talked through the 10-years I served as his pastor at St. Cecilia Parish, he never talked about himself. The conversation was always about your dear mother and all of you.
