Not sure what to say?

A lovely man - he always had something of substance to add at town meeting

When I moved to Saxonville in 1999 and soon after begin serving on the board of the Friends of Saxonville, John was one of the first people I met. His boundless enthusiasm and passion for the village contributed greatly to the organization´s success. He was always a lot of fun and I will remember him fondly. One memory in particular that stays with me is him dancing with Mary on the old Danforth Street bridge when we held a celebration there to commemorate its reopening. My condolences to...

To say that John was active in politics is an understatement. His contribution to the community through his insights into what is in the best interest of the people was exemplary. As a Human Relations Commissioner, I enjoyed conversations with John and his insights. God bless him and my prayers go to the family.

Mary, Stefan, and Gregor, I would like to extend my heartfelt, deepest condolences to you on John's passing. One of the greatest gifts of my life was to have "Mr. Stasik" as my 7th grade science teacher at Weston Junior High School and to forge a lifelong relationship filled with so much laughter and great cheer. I was delighted to help John as a tour assistant on a bike trip to Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg in Webster in the summer of 1978 and then to reconnect with him...

John Stasik was passionately committed not only to Framingham, but also to the Greater Boston region as a whole. A tireless activist on behalf of better land use planning and zoning, he worked with his head and heart for a more sustainable region with a better quality of life. He will be deeply missed.

I´m so sorry to hear about John. A wonderful man.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. John was an intelligent, kind person known well by my husband and sons via Boy Scouts as an outstanding Scout Master. He cared about and nurtured his Scouts, students, and community. May good memories sustain the family in this sad time.
