Thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the Stathakis family. Though I didn't know him personally, I did have the pleasure of watching John compete in track and cross country while in high school, and know he was an integral part and a leader of those Lutheran North teams. Having lost a brother at age 25, I realize how difficult this time is for all who knew and loved him. Just know that many others are praying for you and yours, and that it is God's will that you will one day be reunited in a better...

May God's peace, love, and comfort strengthen you throughout your earthly journey as you await a joyful reunion with your dear son/brother/uncle. What a servant he must have been! Clearly, he knew the Lord and reflected that love in his service to others.
