Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of John's passing. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family. The Diver family

Coach Stavole was always pleasant to me. He was always a gentleman.

My memories of Johnny stem way back to childhood leaving me with great memories of the fun we and Tony had growing up. I did not know until today of his passing and regret not being able to be there. Sincerest sympathy Joe and family. I'm so proud to have been part of the Family. Love, Elaine Volpe Barricklow

So sorry Joe for your loss. Your Father was a positive relationship builder who impacted his Valley Forge basketball players. His players respected his accomplishments without him bragging about them and he lead by example. John was also an excellent neighbor to my Mom when she lost my Dad in 1998 both on Stoney Creek Lane & Greenbriar Drive in Parma Heights. It´s hard to believe we lost John & my good friend Don Caravona the past few months. We will pray for you and your family Joe! Ted Castor

Deepest sympathy and prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you sir for the time and dedication that you gave to the students and athletes of valley forge of school.we are forever in debit to you for what you have taught us ..love you sir .Tom

John was my teammate at St Ignatius and John Carroll so we shared many good times together that I will always cherish and remember. I was saddened greatly by his passing. My condolences to his son Joe, his brother "Tony" and the Stavole family. Frank Humenik

Confident that I can speak for Coach Stavole's former players and coaches at VF in giving thanks for all the great memories. On a personal note, John was a role model for me in coaching and how he lived his Christian faith. Rest in peace with our Savior, Coach!

Joe, I hope you find solace in recalling what a gift you were to your father all of the years you took care of him. May God's blessings be yours, Roger Barnhard St. Augustine Health Ministries
