Johnny and Ellis were best friends in high school. They were in "Marching Band" together playing the tuba. He had an 1931 Essex car in high school. He was allowed to drive it because he had lost his Dad. High school students were not allowed to have cars at that time....1940-50's. He was dating Janet Barger and Ellis and I were also dating. The 4 of us enjoyed going places together. John and Ellis joined the Air Force together. Ellis went West to Texas and John went East to Greenland....
