Not sure what to say?

Mr. Steineger was best man in 1942 at the wedding of Paul Goodrich and Winifred Lacy, my parents.

I just found out about this on Chris' facebook page. So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He had a long and vivid life, and always lived up to his ideals. Love and blessings to you all. Kelley Soden Cox

I am so sorry for this loss. Jack was a great man that had the ablility to teach without anyone realizing it. He made us laugh on a daily basis when he came into work even when he was so busy he could not sit down. He earned the respect of many Kansans. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Margaret--

I'm so glad that mom was able to get to Jack's wake tonight! Mom and dad were always so very fond of both of you, and I know that they really enjoyed sharing your company. They always shared the details of their visits with me, and I wish I had had the opportunity to meet him. He sounds like he was quite a man. I've lost touch with Dad's family since he and his siblings are gone, but Jack's passing has inspired me to get contact information for other family members...

So sorry to hear of your loss. I hope your memories of Jack help you recover from the grief you are experiencing now.

So Sorry for your Lost, you and your family are in my prayer.

Jack was a great State Senator and a good friend.
He will be missed by all.

I am sorry to learn of the Senator's death following a long a distinguished career. I first met Mr. Steineger as a youth working in my father's business. Jack and my father were both Dems., so when he came in, they discussed issues of the day. He will be missed by his constituents and the community at large.

Jack will be missed..... he was a stalwart for the State of Kansas.
