Not sure what to say?

A dear man that will be missed for his never ending spirit for his family and fellow man.

To John's family, I want to extend my deepest condolences for your loss and let you know that John will be missed and never forgotten. Though I didn't see him recently I will never forget his support of the Rams.I first met John in the summer of 1973 and always felt better knowing he was in the stands.I was later co-captain of the 1975 Rams and went on to play 4 years in college.Every athlete knows the fans play a great part in their success and I know John touched many lives. You should know...

John was a wonderful co-worker and friend. You will be greatly missed.

We will dearly miss "MEGA MAN" and his endless energy and support at the games,he was a real tradition.

John, was one of the greatest men I have ever had the oppurtunity to meet. He was like a adopted grandfather to me, but most of all he was a great friend. I will miss him dearly. He was one of the people in my life that influenced me to join the military, and I now I have lost one of my own. I will never forget him though, his great energy at CD Football games will live on. Fair Winds and Following Seas to you John.

Junior High was when I first met John through his grandson, Brandon, at the Harrisburg Martial Arts Academy. He contributed such energy to all of us and we love him for it. In High School, I had the opportunity to be side by side with John once again. As a football manager for Central Dauhin, I was blessed by his presence at every game, and during practices as well. I will always carry with me the lessons of life I learned from John: life is a game; live well; play hard, and love every...

John was like a third grandfather to me. I enjoyed listening to his stories and loved to hear him at football games. He was one of the reasons that CD Football was so great and that I looked forward to attending the games. I loved him like a grandfather and I really miss him.

John was a one of a kind guy. He always had a story to tell us during practices up in the shed. Most of them were about the greats of the past CD teams. Games will never be the same without John and his Megaphone. When all the other fans were being quiet you could always depend on him to cheer the team on in good and bad times. I wish he was still here to hear him in the crowd and hear some more of his stories. I will miss you. You have touched the lives of so many, and your spirit...

John will be greatly missed! I will never forget him coming into the shed and talking to us managers for hours about the old teams of CD and hearing his stories about being stung by bees and having a washboard stomach when playing football. These past couple of Games just havent been the same and neither was seeing him shopping in Karns. Whenever i drive down Mountain Road from now on ill always be able to see john riding his bike home from Work. I'm very sorry for ur loss. He will be greatly...
