Not sure what to say?

I've known the Steward family my entire life. Our family photo album is filled with memories and events we all spent together, Easters, Possum Kingdom Lake, birthdays, etc.
As an only daughter, words cannot express the fun I had visiting the Steward house.... 3 boys and lots of commotion....
My family and I are so blessed that we were able to reconnect with Bruce in Austin. I didn't dare think of having a dinner party without inviting Bruce and Steve.... oh my, the stories they...

I first met "uncle Bruce" in 1991 soon after my brother Pat Hammond and I were reunited. I will never forget Uncle Bruce's kindness and warmth which continued until his passing. It is obvious where Steve gets his thoughtful personality. I was never able to spend as much time with Uncle Bruce as I would have liked. I won't allow that to happen with Steve. My hope is that the acute pain Bruce's family is now forced to endure will soon be replaced with fond memories of a life well lived.

I only met Bruce a few times at Coop events but I always enjoyed his company. I feel honored to have been around him those few times and wish his family all the best.

We want to extend our sympathy to the entire family. Our families go way back and we cherish our memories of Bruce and his kind ways. love to all

I will dearly miss Bruce. I will always cherish the time I spent with him, Janice and the entire Steward family--including of course, his son Gregg, Max and his two beautiful grandchildren, KT and Dayton.
